Faculty Forum 11/7

Dear Colleagues,

Please join us at the next English Department Faculty Forum, a panel on     Masculinity in Literature. It will take place in S341 on Friday, Nov 7 at 1 pm.

  • Geoff Klock’s talk will be on “Superhero Comic Books and the Future of Masculinity.”
  • Jason Schneiderman will discuss “Trans Masculinities in Young Adult Novels.”
  • And Joe Bisz will address “”Masculinity, Dominance, and Me.”

Refreshments and conversation will begin at 12:45. Following the three presentations, another hour will be devoted to questions and further discussion.

The English Department Faculty Forum is important in building our sense of community  We hope you can be there.  Adjuncts, as always, are welcome.
