Important Planning Meeting Fri. 2/6

Just a reminder: we we are meeting this Friday, Feb. 6th from 4-6 PM at the PSC (61 Broadway 16th floor) to make plans for National Adjunct Action Week (in lieu of National Adjunct Walkout Day, since the Taylor Law makes staging a walkout illegal). Please try to make it if you can. Hope to see you there!

Best,
Jenn, on behalf of the AP team

Hello all,

Last Friday was the first CUNY-wide planning meeting for the National Adjunct Day of Action. A number of great ideas were put forward, including but not limited to a “Where Your Tuition Dollar REALLY Goes” awareness campaign for students, a social media campaign, and a union membership drive specifically directed at adjuncts and other contingent workers, with the particular goal of increasing voting power on the contract and in union elections.
Friday, Feb. 6 from 4-6 pm at the PSC (61 Broadway, 16th floor) there will be a planning meeting to firm up plans for these campaigns. If you want to have a say in what goes on on your campus, have other ideas to share, or just want to participate, please make an effort to attend. And please share this announcement with CUNY friends and colleagues!
Hope to see you there,
Jenn, on behalf of the AP
